Applications Engineer
Applications Engineer required for a Bedfordshire based control systems company. Working within their technical department, duties will include:
Liaison with clients including site visits
Interpreting client specifications and requirements
Produce schematic diagrams and detailed designs of motor control and switchgear
Produce co-ordination curves, protection settings and calculations as required
Produce component schedules and instruction note sheets
Prepare descriptions of operations
Liaise with shop floor, test, installation and commissioning departments
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience of application engineering in the motor control / switchgear industry
Familiar with medium voltage systems, 3.3KV, 6.6KV and 11KV
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD systems
Aware of relevant standards and practices within the electrical engineering industry
